Lining Fabrics
While the linings have zippers, they should not be removed for cleaning. Spot clean only.
- Spot clean with a warm water and mild detergent mix.
- Do not scrub with a stiff brush.
- Use a clean cloth to blot out excess liquid.
- Do not wet filling.
- Allow to thoroughly dry before re-use.
- Do not bleach.
- Do not iron.
- Do not dry clean.
Removable Cover & Sleep Surface Care
Spot clean as required.
When you need a more thorough clean, remove the outer covers of your sofa bed and always make sure to check the detailed instructions on the care labels sewn into the covers. All covers are machine washable.
A Few Care and Cleaning Tips
- Always check the labels on the product
- For spot cleaning, use a clean cloth and don’t scrub the covers with a stiff brush
- Don’t use bleach or other harsh chemicals
- Reshape the covers after washing whilst they’re wet
- Let the covers line dry in shade and make sure that they are completely dry before fitting them back on
- No ironing or tumble drying please!
Pilling
Pilling can occur occasionally as a result of normal daily wear and should not be considered a fault. Please check the care labels on your sofa bed to see if a battery operated pilling tool is suitable for the removal of fiber pills.

It’s so easy to assembly and fold out. It’s really comfortable for a pull out too, so much better than most pull outs. The fabric is soft and I love the color too. Also they have excellent customer support. I’d definitely purchase again.

What is the difference between in the classic and premium fabric options?
The classic fabrics keep things simple. They are durable and timeless, making great design more accessible at an easier price point. The luxe fabrics go further, offering the same lasting quality but with elevated textures and trend-forward designs that add both depth and diversity to the range.
Are our fabrics exclusive?
All of our Koala textiles are developed in-house for our products only. I's important to remember that fabrics are easy copied from supplier to supplier, so while they may be exclusively developed by Koala, there may be very similar textiles in market.
Your website notes that you have water resistant treatments on your fabrics, what does this mean and how long will it last?
Thats right! Our fabrics our developed with an extra layer of protection to be added during the production process to give you a little more protection for those everyday 'oops' moments. Its important to be aware that the water-resistant treatment does not make your sofa bulletproof! Our treatment is resistant against water-based spills, so please still be cautious of alcohol and oily stains. If you do spill something on your sofa, please ensure you absorb the mess with something as soon as possible before spot cleaning. If a mark cannot be removed with spot cleaning, then take the covers off and wash them to avoid the stain soaking deeper into the fabric.
