Care

Regular Care
For your everyday care vacuum regularly (weekly) using low suction to remove dust and dirt and protect your sofa bed from direct sunlight.

Skip harsh chemicals and mop up spills quickly with a clean cloth or paper towel.

Lining Fabrics
While the linings have zippers, they should not be removed for cleaning. Spot clean only.

- Spot clean with a warm water and mild detergent mix.
- Do not scrub with a stiff brush.
- Use a clean cloth to blot out excess liquid.
- Do not wet filling.
- Allow to thoroughly dry before re-use.
- Do not bleach.
- Do not iron.
- Do not dry clean.

Removable Cover & Sleep Surface Care
Spot clean as required.

When you need a more thorough clean, remove the outer covers of your sofa bed and always make sure to check the detailed instructions on the care labels sewn into the covers. All covers are machine washable.

A Few Care and Cleaning Tips
- Always check the labels on the product
- For spot cleaning, use a clean cloth and don’t scrub the covers with a stiff brush
- Don’t use bleach or other harsh chemicals
- Reshape the covers after washing whilst they’re wet
- Let the covers line dry in shade and make sure that they are completely dry before fitting them back on
- No ironing or tumble drying please!

Pilling
Pilling can occur occasionally as a result of normal daily wear and should not be considered a fault. Please check the care labels on your sofa bed to see if a battery-operated pilling tool is suitable for the removal of fiber pills.

I love my Byron Ocean salt sofa with ottoman
I absolutely love my Byron ocean salt sofa with Luxe fabric. The fabric is so soft and comfortable to sit or sleep on.
The sofa is perfect for my live workspace as it instantly and easily reclines out to a beautiful, comfortable queen size bed.
In addition, my representative Molly was so helpful in helping me by going the extra mile in providing excellent customer service.

Comfortable and cozy
My family and I love the Byron sofa bed. Sitting on the couch as a 5 foot 4 woman feels so cozy. My family and I watched a movie with it extended as a bed and it was amazingly comfortable! I haven’t slept on it yet but my family says it’s nice. Better than a clunky sofa bed. I do wish the color was more of a darker vibrant green. It’s like a grayish army green instead. The bottom also needs adjusting to make sure the back pillows are in place. It was fairly easy for my husband and I to put it together. All in all I would recommend this sofa bed.

Great Quality
I’m pleased with the construction and functionality of this sofa bed. I chose the cappuccino boucle fabric without testing a sample and it’s the only thing I regret. Boucle is usually soft and I find this fabric scratchy when in sofa mode. Tested it as a bed for a few nights and it’s amazing not to feel the metal springs like traditional sofa beds.

No support for assembly
The product is handsome. My low rating is due to big problems I encountered while assembling the sofa-bed. There are two gumnuts that are supposed to secure the arm panels (step 5) to the seat back, but there were no openings for the gumnuts to screw into, on the arm panels. I still have these gumnuts, and hope the arm panels are sufficiently attached without them. In addition, it was not clear on the assembly illustration which way the central gumnuts were supposed to be inserted (step 2) so when I tried to rotate the sofa bed onto its legs (step 8) after mounting the front beam (step 6) to the armrest pins, the sofa collapsed in half, and I got an ugly bruise from the attempt. I was very concerned that this big, expensive piece of furniture was not going to come together. Fortunately there appeared to be no damage to the sofa-bed, and now it looks nice and performs well, after many days struggling with assembly. I was particularly frustrated because there was no support from your company for questions/problems with assembly. It would help a lot if you provided a link to a step-by-step assembly video.
