Regular Care
For your everyday care vacuum regularly (weekly) using low suction to remove dust and dirt and protect your sofa bed from direct sunlight.
Skip harsh chemicals and mop up spills quickly with a clean cloth or paper towel.
Lining Fabrics
While the linings have zippers, they should not be removed for cleaning. Spot clean only.
- Spot clean with a warm water and mild detergent mix.
- Do not scrub with a stiff brush.
- Use a clean cloth to blot out excess liquid.
- Do not wet filling.
- Allow to thoroughly dry before re-use.
- Do not bleach.
- Do not iron.
- Do not dry clean.
Removable Cover & Sleep Surface Care
Spot clean as required.
When you need a more thorough clean, remove the outer covers of your sofa bed and always make sure to check the detailed instructions on the care labels sewn into the covers. All covers are machine washable.
A Few Care and Cleaning Tips
- Always check the labels on the product
- For spot cleaning, use a clean cloth and don’t scrub the covers with a stiff brush
- Don’t use bleach or other harsh chemicals
- Reshape the covers after washing whilst they’re wet
- Let the covers line dry in shade and make sure that they are completely dry before fitting them back on
- No ironing or tumble drying please!
Pilling
Pilling can occur occasionally as a result of normal daily wear and should not be considered a fault. Please check the care labels on your sofa bed to see if a battery operated pilling tool is suitable for the removal of fiber pills.

Fast shipping. With a YouTube video, it's easy enough to assemble. Love the upgraded material. It's comfortable closed and opened. Very happy customers.
Only suggestion would be for the material strip covering the bottom front to be an inch or two longer. Thankfully, the ends are not very noticeable.

I had been seeing the online ads for some time. I finally went ahead and made a purchase and I’m glad I did. I hauled all of the materials in boxes up a flight of stairs by myself, which was bit of an effort better for two people. I also put the unit together by myself, which took about an hour and a half at a slow pace. The product looks great. The couch is comfortable and the sleeper is even more comfortable. I’ve had guests stay and they say they love it overall happy with my purchase.

How should I wash the covers to keep my sofa bed looking as good as new?
The Koala Sofa Bed 4th Gen has some great new fabrics that make wash and care a cinch!
For regular care, we recommend a weekly vacuum on the lowest setting. The added water-resistant treatment on the cover fabrics means most water-based spills will bead and are easily wiped away with a clean cloth if you are quick about it. Please note that the lining fabrics are not water-resistant and are not machine washable, you will need to spot clean these inner components
For spot cleaning, use a solution of mild detergent and clean warm water, and a clean cloth to carefully clean out the stain. Avoid rubbing too hard and do not scrub with a stiff brush. When spot cleaning, take care not to wet/saturate the filling, blot out any excess liquid with a clean cloth, and make sure that covers are completely dry before putting them back on.
If your Koala Sofa Bed 4th Gen looks like it's in need of a little more TLC, simply remove the covers and the topper along the velcro and by the zips, and you will be able to throw them into your washing machine at home (please check the capacity of your washing machine and do not overfill it!)
Each cover has a care label letting you know how you need to launder it. Please follow these directions closely. After washing, reshape the covers while wet and line dry in the shade. Covers cannot be tumble dried, ironed, or bleached; this can cause damage or shrinkage. Always make sure that your covers are completely dry before reattaching them.
Do I need tools to assemble my sofa bed?
No tools needed! Your Koala Sofa Bed 4th Gen is designed for quick, stress-free assembly. All parts simply slot, screw, or zip into place with the help of alignment guides and colored tabs. No Allen keys or screwdrivers required.
Can I purchase additional or replacement covers separately?
Absolutely! We offer the option to purchase additional or replacement covers separately. This allows you to change up the look of your Koala Sofa bed or have spare covers for easy rotation and cleaning.
Please note, the cover sets are for the Koala Sofa Bed 4th Gen only. Any sofa beds before this generation have fixed covers that cannot be changed or replaced. If you aren't sure which generation of the Koala Sofa Bed you have, please reach out to our customer service team in the USA!
