Koala Sofa Bed [4th Gen]

The 4th Gen offers a step up in both style and comfort.

It’s available in two new exclusive Koala-only fabrics, including five brand new colors, while the 3rd Gen offers a range of classic Koala colors.

The upgraded seat is now 11% deeper at 23.5", so you can stretch out and really sink in, compared to the compact 21" 3rd Gen seat. The 4th Gen also features multi-layer seat comfort with a plush pillow-top layer, zoned backrest, front edge support, and a sturdy support base.

Covers on the 4th Gen are fully removable, washable, and even upgradable thanks to a quick-slip lining - while the 3rd Gen’s covers and topper are fixed and spot-clean only.

While both ottomans feature hidden storage, the newest ottoman is also more versatile - flipping from cushion top to a handy wooden side table. Whereas the 3rd Gen ottoman simply matches the sofa fabric.

Size-wise, the 4th Gen has a slightly greater overall depth (41.3" vs 39") and taller backrest (33.5" vs 31.8"), with widths of 70" (Queen), 60" (Full) and 46" (Twin). The sofa bed’s total depth when open is also larger at 88" versus 84.6" for the 3rd Gen.

The Koala Sofa Bed 4th Gen has some great new fabrics that make wash and care a cinch!

For regular care, we recommend a weekly vacuum on the lowest setting. The added water-resistant treatment on the cover fabrics means most water-based spills will bead and are easily wiped away with a clean cloth if you are quick about it. Please note that the lining fabrics are not water-resistant and are not machine washable, you will need to spot clean these inner components

For spot cleaning, use a solution of mild detergent and clean warm water, and a clean cloth to carefully clean out the stain. Avoid rubbing too hard and do not scrub with a stiff brush. When spot cleaning, take care not to wet/saturate the filling, blot out any excess liquid with a clean cloth, and make sure that covers are completely dry before putting them back on.

If your Koala Sofa Bed 4th Gen looks like it's in need of a little more TLC, simply remove the covers and the topper along the velcro and by the zips, and you will be able to throw them into your washing machine at home (please check the capacity of your washing machine and do not overfill it!)

Each cover has a care label letting you know how you need to launder it. Please follow these directions closely. After washing, reshape the covers while wet and line dry in the shade. Covers cannot be tumble dried, ironed, or bleached; this can cause damage or shrinkage. Always make sure that your covers are completely dry before reattaching them.

No tools needed! Your Koala Sofa Bed 4th Gen is designed for quick, stress-free assembly. All parts simply slot, screw, or zip into place with the help of alignment guides and colored tabs. No Allen keys or screwdrivers required.

Absolutely! We offer the option to purchase additional or replacement covers separately. This allows you to change up the look of your Koala Sofa bed or have spare covers for easy rotation and cleaning.
