Large Sectional Sofas Built to Scale Past Four Sections

Both options on this page start at a four-section build and connect to the rest of their range through the same tool-free system. The Torquay comes in four sizes with a structured cushion line in a recycled polyester blend. The Bangalow opens up to 13 size combinations, including chaise variants, with a deeper boucle and demi-boucle seat. Both sit on an FSC-certified timber frame. A four-section sofa bought today can grow into a corner or U-shape later, so the same large sofa keeps working as the room or household changes.

Torquay vs Bangalow: Picking a Large Modular Sofa

The choice comes down to seat depth and how far the sofa scales. The Torquay holds a leaner, structured profile across four sizes, suited to large rooms that lean toward clean modern lines. The Bangalow runs deeper and softer with a boucle finish, opening into 13 configurations including corner and U-shape, suited to lounge-led rooms and households likely to expand the sofa over time. Both carry the same 5-year warranty and tool-free connection. Choose by seat feel first, then by how large the sofa might eventually grow.
